I'm so in love with this collection and I love that the models are channeling Frida Kahlo (minus the unibrow.)

The Breakfast Club
I'm going to have to stick to picture heavy posts for the next while because of college but I'm writing as a columnist for the amazing Help My Style on a weekly basis so you can take a look HERE! New posts are usually up at the beginning of the week so keep an eye out. Breakfast At Tiffany's is one of my favorite films and always cheers me up. I love contemporary references to old hollywood movies and fashion editorials recently seem to be channeling old hollywood a lot. (Especially in Look Magazine I've noticed but couldn't find any pictures online.) The cat-eye sunglasses are by a swedish eye-wear designer who I have become obsessed with and plan on dedicating a post to. Although I am definitely not going to spend €500 on sunnies any time soon, I like to browse through her website and window shop. Have a look HERE and enjoy x

Well Jel
Following in the footsteps of Alexa Chung, Mulberry announced today that their newest handbag will be named 'The Del Rey' after my current crush Lana Del Rey. Lucky Lana was seated front row at the Mulberry show today with her namesake in tow. No doubt it will follow the Alexa in terms of its cult status and it's a relief that despite the album backlash she's sticking around! I have to say it would be a dream to have a Mulberry handbag named after me.....some day... x

Wishful Thinking: Mary Katrantzou for Topshop
It has been a long time coming but it is finally here. Although i must admit i am disappointed with both the collection and the prices, the bowl dress makes up for everything! While at this moment in time I won't be shelling out 350 pound for the amazing dress, I think I might win the lotto in the meantime so keep those fingers crossed! Enjoy x

The Other Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen has been on my radar for a while now. She always looks impeccable and is just as stunning as her famous twin sisters. She is the 'Elizabeth' in 'Elizabeth and James', is on the cover of this months ASOS Magazine which you can read HERE and wears Topshop to A-List events. Now that I have finally seen 'Martha Marcy May Marlene,' (the newly released film of which she is the protagonist) I can finally say that she deserves all this fame and magazine mileage. Her acting is flawless and she had me on the edge of my seat. Although the film isn't being shown in all cinemas,I would definitely recommend going to see it, if only to gawk at Elizabeth Olsen. I promise you won't regret it, definitely my favorite film of 2012 so far.

January Favourites
I must begin by saying I was pretty excited to do a favourites post again, I'll definitely keep it up!
1.Tangle Teezer-I never thought i'd say this, firstly because it looks like something you'd use to brush a horse and secondly because of the price (9.99) but this has changed my life. I have very dry hair that gets extremely tangly and falls when I brush it. The Tangle Teezer has dramatically improved the shine on my hair and I have also noticed that there is little to no fall when I brush my hair which is AMAZING! The tangles in my hair also disappear extremely quickly wooo! Obviously it is a lot to shell out on a piece of plastic and people will look at you funny if you brush your hair in a public place but I highly recommend it.
2.Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser, Toner and Cream-For the past year or so I've been using MAC Cleanse-Off Oil and Green Gel Cleanser in the morning and night to take off my makeup and clean my face. Recently I have been breaking out and felt like my makeup was off but my skin was still a bit clogged up. Seeing as I reached the ends of both, I felt it was time for a change. I went into the lovely man in Kiehls in Dundrum and gave him a low down on m skin and these were the products he recommended. The cream I have been using is a generous sample but i think I may invest in the full size I am so impressed. My skin feels better than it has in months and is completely clear. I have been using the trio for 3 weeks now and haven't had one break out. Result!
3. Pinterest-I set this up a while ago and don't know how i let the brief obsession fizzle out but I am hooked again and can;t get enough. Pinterest is insanely addictive (probably bad timing with my dissertation in full swing eek) follow me HERE
4.Sephora by OPI Nail Polish in Caught With My Khakis Down-Funny name, lovely colour.
5. Topshop Turban Headband-This headband was 4.50 in the Topshop sale and I can't stop wearing it! It's ideal for dodgy hair days and very glam.
6.MAC Swiss Chocolate Eyeshadow-My favourite eyeshadows are always so boring so apologies for that but this colour really makes blue eyes pop and is nearlyyyy overtaking wedge as my all-time fave eyeshadow for every day......nearly....
7.Essence Express Dry Drops-I received these as a gift for my birthday and they are amazing! They really do work and dry polish in less than a minute.
8.It's A Brad Brad World-Just thought I'd throw in another tv show this month seeing as I watch a serious amount of easy-viewing trash, this month I'm hooked on The Walking Dead and It's a Brad Brad World. Those of you who watch The Rachel Zoe Project will know Brad Goreski as the celebrity stylist's former assistant but he is off on his own now and I find it fascinating to see stylists at work. The show is available to watch online on Tv Links.eu for those interested.
9.Clarins Lip Perfector-This is great to wear every day, it's not sticky and is the perfect natural shade, and it smells like candy floss mmmm....
10.Tantastic Instant Spray Tan-I am a fake tan junkie and this is one that I always go back to. The can releases a fine mist which gives great coverage. The colour is brown rather than orange, goes on instantly and lasts a week. Can't ask for much more than that.

Everything Gets Better With Age
I am an avid reader of the Advanced Style blog which you can have a look at HERE. As a huge fan of Iris Apfel, this blog is a testament to the fact that she is not the only glamorous older woman out there with amazing style. All of the women featured on the blog are so inspirational. It is hard to believe Ilona Royce Smithkin is 90 years old and still rocking those orange eyelash extensions!
This video makes me so happy and very excited for the documentary release during the summer.
