2012

I LIVE for New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, this year the biggest night of the year is shrouded in pre-exam hatred. I will be welcoming the New Year with my head in my piles of notes but it hasn't stopped me fantasizing about the New Years that could be! Pathetically I shed a few tears listening to Zooey Deschanel and Gordon Levitt yesterday and I reckon the self-pity is just about out of my system!

2011 was a great year and after interning in New York with the amazing Style Like U during the summer I finally had that lightbulb moment where I decided what I want to be when I grow up which I had never experienced before. Hopefully next year will be another great year for me and the world won't end on my birthday as has been predicted :) My new years resolution includes posting a lot more regularly so next year you'll be hearing a lot more from me.

Apocalypse or not, I think I'm ready for 2012.

Black is the New Black

I recently dyed my hair dark and am really embracing my new gothic look. I have found myself wearing black or navy and black (a personal favourite combo of mine) every day since the transition. I am usually very into wearing colour and am loving all the pretty pastel shades trickling into high-street shops but I am taking advantage of the dark colours in my wardrobe for the last of the Wintry months. Not only is black sophisticated and always in fashion, it is also very figure flattering and great for hiding the post-Christmas bulge! Perfect!

Tacky Interiors: Agyness Deyn Edition

Agyness Deyn has some damn good taste. Her New York apartment recently went up for sale for a cool 2.5m and the interior design is amazing. I can really see myself rolling around in that under the sea room.........better start saving!

Better Late Than Never

I have been living under a rock obviously, but have recently discovered the music of Lana Del Ray and it is hooked to ma veins, I am loving it! Her songs are lovely and depressing, she has an amazingly haunting voice and I have had any songs of hers I could get my paws on repeating on my iTunes all weekend. I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment with all my college work and her music is seriously fueling my fire. I am sure the rest of you have heard it but definitely take a listen to Video Games and my fave Born to Die. She is also a beauty and has a lips to rival Angelina Jolie....Enjoy x

P.S-Why can't I look like that waaa :(

Fuzzy Wuzzy

I am a mahoosive fan of a good geansaĆ and after purchasing a gorgeous peach mohair number in H&M last week I must admit I have fallen head over heels with an item of clothing once again. Although said jumper has left a trail behind me as it sheds as much as my dog, it is one of the coziest things I have ever worn. It reminds me of the housewives from Edward Scissorhands for some reason and goes with EVERYTHING. Only problem is I'm scared to wash it :( I don't want that lovely peach fuzz layer on the jumper to get ruined. (Sad but true!)

Here is some mohair inspiration x

I wore mine with leopard print jeans and loafers but these beauts can be worn with everything!
